I have riden bikes for 20 years and have wanted to race since my first RD250 (which is understandable!). My big break came when my wife's TZR250 was written off after being stolen. I borrowed it from her and within a month it was transformed into a rather ratty race bike. This bike was vastly out classed but in one and a half seasons, I never came last and obtained several top 50% finishes. After this promising start, I decided to buy competitive machinery and as the 400 class was expanding, I aimed for a 400.
